I passed by the Chapel on Wednesday night as the Worship Band was rehearsing, "The Power of Your Love". It has been a long time since I've heard that particular song and I was quickly reminded of how much I love and appreciate the message behind it.
My favorite stanza is the fourth. It says:
Lord renew my mind
As Your will unfolds my life
In living every day
By the power of Your love.
I love the truth involved in this statement. As God has called me to live in His Will and as I am faithful to do so, He will renew my strength like nothing else can. It is a great reminder that the power of God's love is available to each of us if we allow Him to hold us close and fill us with His Spirit.
I look forward to hearing it again this Sunday as the Worship Band ushers in our prayer time.
